An American actor, artist, and filmmaker. His first prominent role was a lead part on the short-lived cult hit television program Freaks and Geeks; he later achieved recognition for playing the titular character in the TV biographical film James Dean, and achieved international fame with his portrayal of Harry Osborn in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy.

In Memoriam:
Charles Darwin died 130 years ago today
An English naturalist. He established that all species of life have descended over time from common ancestors, and proposed the scientific theory that this branching pattern of evolution resulted from a process that he called natural selection. He published his theory for evolution in his book On the Origin of Species.
