He started his career as an actor and is well known for being a member of the acting Brat Pack of the 1980s, starring in The Breakfast Club and St. Elmo's Fire. He is also known for Repo Man, The Mighty Ducks, Maximum Overdrive, and his performances in Western films such as Young Guns.

Robert Reed died 20 years ago today
An American character actor of stage, film and television. In his first big break, he played Kenneth Preston on the popular 1960s TV legal drama, The Defenders, alongside E. G. Marshall. But he was best remembered for portraying the father, Mike Brady, on the popular sitcom, The Brady Bunch, from 1969 to 1974.
