Charlie Sheen turns 47 today
An American film and television actor. He is the youngest son of actor Martin Sheen. His character roles in films have included Chris Taylor in the 1986 Vietnam War drama Platoon, Jake Kesey in the 1986 film The Wraith, and Bud Fox in the 1987 film Wall Street. His career has also included more comedic films such as Major League, the Hot Shots! films, and Scary Movie 3 and Scary Movie 4.

Thuy Trang died 11 years ago today
A Vietnamese-American actress. She was best known for her role as Trini Kwan, the original Yellow Ranger in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers television series. In 1975, when Trang was two years old, the rest of the family were forced to flee Saigon and in 1979 they secretly boarded a cargo ship along with hundreds of others traveling to Hong Kong, with the ultimate aim of reaching the United States.
