Emma Bunton turns 37 today
A British pop singer/songwriter and TV and radio presenter. She is a member of the girl group, The Spice Girls formed in the 1990s, in which she is known as Baby Spice as she is the youngest member. She is also the host of the Heart FM Saturday evening slot from 4pm to 7pm. Her debut solo album A Girl Like Me was released on 16 April 2001.

Vladimir Lenin died 89 years ago today
A Russian communist revolutionary, politician and political theorist who served as the leader of the Russian SFSR from 1917, and then concurrently as Premier of the Soviet Union from 1922, until 1924. Born into a wealthy middle-class family in Simbirsk, Lenin gained an interest in revolutionary leftist politics following the execution of his brother in 1887.
